biografi escape the fate

Sebelum membentuk Escape The Fate, Ronnie Radke (Vocals), Max Green (Bassist), Robert Ortiz (Drummer), Bryan Monte Money (Guitarist), dan Omar Espinosa (Guitarist) berada di beberapa band berbeda.
Pada bulan September 2005, Escape The Fate telah memenangkan kontes radio lokal dinilai oleh My Chemical Romance. Pementasan diberikan kesempatan kepada mereka untuk membuka acara di headlining band tour dengan Alkaline Trio dan Reggie And The Full Effect, yang kemudian Escape the Fate kontrak rekaman dengan Egitaph Records.
Pada 23 Mei 2006, band ini merilis EP mereka yang berjudul There’s No Sympathy For The Dead.EP termasuk dua lagu yang kemudian dimasukan ke full album mereka, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.EP ini diproduksi oleh Michael Baskette dan membantu band ini mendapatkan perhatian dari perusahaan rekaman dan penggemar sama. Setelah merilis EP, Carson Allen (Keyboard) meninggalkan band untuk bergabung dengan On The Last Day.
Pada tanggal 26 September 2006, band ini merilis full album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion.

Pada tahun 2007 selama Black on Black tur, Omar Espinosa meninggalkan band karena masalah pribadi. Ronnie Radke diminta untuk meninggalkan band setelah ia dijatuhi hukuman penjara untuk beberapa berurusan dengan hukum yang melibatkan narkotika dan masalah berkelahi yang menuju ke kematian Michael Cook. Dan dia berada di sebuah band baru bernama "Falling in Reverse". Mereka akan mulai merekam album baru mereka, dan tur setelah Ronnie akan keluar dari penjara.

Setelah kepergian Radke, mantan vokalis Blessthefall, Craig Mabbitt bergabung dengan ETF, pertama sebagai pengganti sementara, dan kemudian sebagai anggota tetap. This War Is Ours dirilis pada 21 Oktober 2008. Ini termasuk single The Flood, Something, dan 10 Miles Wide. Ini adalah pertama kalinya Escape The Fate mengeluarkan album dengan menampilkan Craig Mabbitt sebagai vokalis.
Dan Escape The Fate memulai tur This War Is Ours Tour dengan Attack Attack!, Burn Halo, William Control, dan Black Tide. The Flood telah dirilis sebagai DLC dengan Warped Tour 01 Pack untuk Rock Band dan Rock Band 2.

Mabbitt telah membocorkan informasi bahwa band sudah memiliki 5 lagu baru, dan telah mulai merekam lagu-lagu itu. 31 May 2009, Mabbitt menyatakan pada akun Twitter "selesai 7 demo lagu untuk album berikutnya jadi bersemangatlah, terima kasih untuk mengisi ulang berat Monte" menunjuk pada kemungkinan lagu-lagu itu lebih berat. Dia juga menyatakan untuk para penggemar bahwa mereka telah memasukkan lebih banyak Scream ke lagu-lagu baru ini. Dalam sebuah wawancara Warped Tour 2009, Escape The Fate menyatakan bahwa mereka akan merekam lagu-lagunya suatu waktu di musim dingin dan akan merilis tahun 2010. Dalam wawancara lain selama Warped Tour 2009, Max Green menyatakan "It's fucking bad ass! I can't wait to release it. It's heavier sort of - it's not super heavy but it's sort of...I don't know... loud ". Dia juga mengatakan bahwa album ini akan menampilkan sebuah lagu yang ditulis oleh Mick Mars dari Motley Crue, dan berkolaborasi dalam beberapa lagu.
